This Privacy Policy explains what personal and technical data may be processed when you use the Portio AI mobile application (the “App”) and related backend services, why we process it, and what rights you have.
1. Data Controller
The data controller for server-side features (account, generation queue, subscriptions, ad reward verification) is the owner/operator of the Portio AI service deployment. Contact details are available in the app listing (developer contact section in Google Play / App Store).
2. Categories of Data We Process
- Account data. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we may process your email address, provider user ID, and profile avatar URL (if provided by that provider).
- Images. You upload a source image to generate a portrait. We process and store source and generated images, plus generation metadata (style, status, timestamps) to provide history and app functionality.
- Subscription data. For premium features, we may process purchase metadata such as product ID, platform, purchase token, and expiration data to verify entitlement.
- Ads and rewards. In free mode, Google AdMob is used for ad delivery and rewarded ad verification. Technical ad-session identifiers (for example, one-time reward token references) may be processed.
- Technical logs. API requests may include IP address, device/app metadata, request timestamps, and error logs for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Localization preferences. Preferred app language may be stored for user experience.
3. Purposes of Processing
- to provide AI portrait generation based on your selected style and uploaded image;
- to run queueing and premium prioritization;
- to enforce free-tier limits and rewarded ad rules;
- to verify subscription status;
- to authenticate users and prevent abuse;
- to improve reliability, diagnose issues, and maintain service quality.
4. Third-Party Services
AI generation requests (including image content and style prompt data) are processed through third-party AI APIs (Google Gemini / Generative Language API) according to configured service behavior.
Sign-in is provided by Google and Apple. Payments and subscriptions are handled by app stores. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not receive full payment card details; billing providers process that data.
5. Retention and Deletion
Data is stored on secured infrastructure chosen by the service operator (including cloud storage where applicable). Retention periods depend on service needs, legal obligations, and dispute handling requirements. You can request account/data deletion via developer contact details in the app listing.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS in transit, access controls, and minimization of collected data where possible. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data, subject to applicable law. Contact us using developer contact details in the app listing.
8. Children
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children where parental consent is required by law. If you believe child data was provided without proper basis, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy as features, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version is always available at the policy URL listed in the app store listing.
